My Dear Mr. Beck

The Historical Society did refer your letter about the paintings to me for reply. Nearly all the information about the Long and Kennedy families which I have was obtained from Mrs. Albyn L. Adams and from tombstone blocks in Baltimore. Mrs. Adams permanent address in 1941 (the last time I corresponded with her) was 871 W. College Ave, Jacksonville, Ill, but she also wrote me I think from some other address. I hope you will succeed in your search for Jefferson.
