Biography
Louisa Woodruff Johns was born 19 Sep 1842 in Hinds county, Mississippi to John Jay Johns and Catherine Woodruff Johns. The family moved to St. Charles, Missouri. When she was four, her mother died, leaving both her and younger sister, Mary. Her father married Jane Amanda Durfee, who bore him a number of children. Louisa married William Morgan in St. Charles 5 Jan 1865, and the family moved westward. The 1870 census shows them in Carrol county, Missouri. By 1910, the family had moved to McClain, Oklahoma. Louisa died in 1917 at the age of 75.
