WILLIAM B. ALDRIDGE was born to James W/J Aldridge and Mary M. Lockhart in Gonzales County, Texas in May 1864 (1900 census Pct 5, ED58, sheet 10). He was living with his sister, Elizabeth, and brother-in-law, Robert M. Fawcett, on their farm near Wrightsboro, Texas when on the morning of December 19, 1900, he shot and wounded Robert (Gonzales Inquirer 12/19/1900:4). W.B. Aldridge died in Kerr County on January 11, 1939 (Cert.#3518).
