Biography
James was born 11 Jul 1779. He married Lettice Tunnell in 1799 in TN. They had two children, Thomas B, 11 Jun 1808, born in TN and Catherine, 5 May 1810. He died 13 Nov 1813, age 34 yrs, 4 mos, 2 days. Family tradition says he was shot from ambush as he was returning home.
