Biography
Hugh Murphy Sanderson, Jr. was born July 8, 1857 to Hugh Murphy Sanderson and Elizabeth Ann Sonner. His father was a physician, and Hugh became one, too, attending Missouri Medical School. He married Rose Devore on (date). They had five children: Clifford, Sarah Elizabeth (who never used Sarah), Christing, Mary Louise and Olive. He died on November 15, 1917.
Note
The story I have heard of his death is that he was out making a house call, when there was some accident with the carriage and he was flung into a snow bank. It was several hours before he was rescued, and he died of pneumonia as a result. Susan 10:11, 16 December 2007 (CST)
