Dear Minna:

Well, finally -- and I am not very happy about the looks of it either but you can blame the Hay Fever for It. When I have particular typing to do at the office I take a pill but I am not taking any more pills than I have to take. It seems that just about the time I would get going good a spell of sneezing would come on me and sometimes I could not ward it off and sometimes it would come so sudden that when I was typing things would go haywire.

Anyway, here it is and I am more than pleased to send it to you and Lois. I am going to do another of the Trip to Texas and if it is a better one than you have both you and Lois I will exchange the two for your two and give them to the family.

You will notice I have picked up some information from Mrs.. Morton and I think it is correct anyway mostly court records are quoted . Her Winstons are a different set from ours or at least that is what she says -- from another county. I have not got all that straightened out but she sent me lots of informations on Winstons and not one mentions a Johns.

By the way, our ancestor Joel W. Jones was not given a very good record that is, if one can believe the story put up by his brother-in-law. He tried to steal their property while the brother-in-law was in jail (for many years) Anyway the brother in law sued him.

I have a letter her Mrs. Leathers sent me from a Mrs. Harper in Atlanta, Ga., whose great-great grandfather was Colonel John Johns, (1746) I will write to her to see what we can make out but must get the Winstons straightened out. If things happened in Buckingham C., it is hard as those records were destroyed. however we shall see.

We hope you are having a pleasant visit and that you all are well. Note toward the end the pages I added and an addition on Page #7.

Love from us all to you all

Florence
