Dear Minna:

Writing to tell you that Eleanor wrote from Los Angels that Margaret had "passed on" last Tuesday between 3 and 8 AM. Died in her sleep. You may have heard. My Typewriter temporarily at the shop they missed something. Think it a good idea to offer Mrs. Morton money as that seems to be the theme. Have hear no more. Will write later.
