Dear Minna: You will have to forgive me but I have been worried about whether or not you received the notes, etc on the diary of J.J. Johns. I mailed them to you on the 27th September and would hate for them to get lost. Perhaps you have been busy or something unforeseen has happened but I sincerely hope that no one has been sick. when I typed them I made several copies and have sent one to Jack and Emma and one to Ann Johns, Warren's widow and her daughter who is married and has a family. If you have a note on the way, do not worry or if you have not, it will be easy just to use the enclosed post card. The family seemed to be entranced with the writing of Grandfather johns and appreciated it so much and thought it so kind for you to lend them to us. With best wishes and hope all is well.

Love from Florence
