Dear Eugene

Enclosed you will find a paper which was written for your sister. I send it to you, as I do not know her address. Please forward it to her.

Why dont you write some times? Uncas, William and Bob, often ask about you but there will be nothing to answer.

John Murchany's son Clarance broke his leg mondy very badly while working with a gasoline Engine sawing wood. The belt slipped off, catching and throwing him forcibly against the door of the Woodshed -- no one there but his wife -- she phoned for help. It required several men to carry him in. Arthur got there in time to help the doctor set it. William is gone to teach & preach at a place named Plumtree, N. Carolina in the Lars McRae [or McBee?] school for mountain children.

Bob is about to move, perhaps to near Richmond Va.

Presbytery adjorns to day at Howell (Mechanicsville) They have had beautiful weather for it, tho, its too cool & cloudy for dining outdoors to day.

Good bye very truly, Your affectionate Aunt, L. C. McCluer.
