Biography

Elizabeth Sanderson was born on November 30, 1805 in Noble, Illinois to Hugh Murphy Sanderson and his wife, Rose Devore Sanderson. She had an older brother, Clifford, and three younger sisters, Christine, Mary Louise and Olive. During the decade 1910-1920, she lost her brother and both parents, and finished raising her younger sisters, although Aunt Chris always retorted that she was almost grown!
