This category indexes documents in the collection of Minna Gauss Reeves. This collection was started by Charles Henry Gauss. The work was continued by the two women I have been calling the Collectors. They were the sisters Anne Durfee Gauss and Minna Gauss Reeves. After Anne died, Minna continued the work with another cousin, Florence Johns of Austin, Texas.
The collection came to the Chambless family after the death of Minna's husband, Fred L. Reeves.
