Biographical Information

I don't know much about Howard F. Allender, except that his family was somehow acquainted with my Chamblesses in the 1940s in Florida. An internet search reveals that he was an architect, in St. Petersburg, FL. I know he was a fine writer, as evidenced by the letters on this site. A site on the 14 USAAF 27 Troop Carrier Squadron yields the following writings and a listing of his military service:
